A Little Introduction
Not every photo is taken in a specifically appealing way and has the intention of reaching an artistic level, which makes those kind of photographs a lot more special when they are taken.
The world of photography is quite big and it offers the freedom to enjoy taking many different types of photos with different meanings, contexts, purposes. For example, the majority of photos taken in our daily lives usually have the "simple" purpose of "documenting" a certain moment we want to remember later, but there are photos that are taken with a certain special attention and beauty purposes and that require putting much more effort into the whole process of taking them in an artistic, charismatic, visually pleasing way, and that's why we have to "evaluate" and appreciate each photo according to the purpose they were taken with (kind of the same way we can't really compare an action movie to a dramatic one based on real events).
Naturally, most of the photos taken have the one and only purpose of documenting a certain moment because nowadays it's quite rare for someone not to have a smartphone/camera/any electric device that takes photos and because most people don't have the time or even the interest of taking photos with the only purpose of beauty, but there are still many artists whose passion/biggest talent is artistic photography and that make a career out of it.
Fortunately, photography is increasingly recognized as a way of art, but there are still people who forget to mention it and that seem to think that only paintings, drawings and sculpture are considered 'art'.
Angles, light, shadows, color saturation, image quality, framework and shapes are some of the aspects that define the beauty, visual appeal, and charisma in artistic photography.
This site has been created with the purpose of sharing my personal experience in this magnificent world that represents our human senses, the ability to appreciate art and how I see and feel the world around me. This site portrays my own perspective of LIFE.
